Subject: BLAGUES-L: Advice for people with errant computers

Hi.  Just thought I'd share with you a thought that made me smile.

Someone was complaining that they had been having a lot of problems with
their Email and Internet connections.  Their computer kept running out
of memory, hanging, and crashing.  Nothing they did helped...until she
hit upon an idea.  She started prominently displaying a large baseball
bat in front of the computer, and even taking a practice swing from time
to time.  And from then on, the computer problems seemed to disappear.
So the next time your computer tells you it "cannot connect" or "not
enough memory", try using a little threat of computerly harm to do the
trick...
